Interview videos from Berlin
Founders, employees and customers as testimonials tell in their own words why it’s worth working with you, shot where you work.
In short
What an interview video at null3null is
For Berlin businesses that want to show why people work with them, null3null produces interview videos: founders, employees and customers tell it in their own words, concept, interview direction, the shoot at your business and the edit sit with Öykü Bargan and Nils Grinbergs. A video like this shows prospects before the first conversation who is behind a business and how people work there: information a website alone can’t give. The price is a project price on request; what determines it (shoot days, number of interviews, scope of formats) is explained further down and in the first conversation.

When nobody believes what the website says
A website reciting claims. References as a text quote, no face and no voice behind them. Prospects who can’t see before the first conversation what it’s like to work with you. We shoot with the people who know: your founders and your customers. Afterwards your website has faces and your references have voices.
What we don’t shoot: testimonials read off a script, scenes of people smiling at each other in the office for no reason, and booked actors playing your customers. A founder or testimonial video here is made of real voices. We ask questions, your founders or customers answer in their own words, and we cut what holds up. Whoever watches the video hears people talking about their work or their experience, not ad copy someone put in front of them.
Who is this for?
The format fits businesses whose website so far consists of claims rather than proof, and whose customers are willing to speak up for them. It fits less well if nobody, neither founder nor customer, is willing to speak on camera. Interview direction helps the camera-shy (see the process), but it doesn’t work with zero participants.
Which videos we produce
Four formats, four angles. Each format’s description tells you when it fits; when in doubt, we sort it out in the first conversation.
Founder video
You as founder or management tell why your business exists and what it stands for. Fits when the person at the top is a reason to work with you. A practical side effect: the video doesn’t go stale with the next staff change. Used on: website, about page, investor conversations.
Employee interview
Your employees tell in their own words what they work on and what it’s like to work at your company. Fits when the team is a reason to work with you. Applicants also get to see who they’d be joining. Used on: website, team page, hiring process, social media.
Testimonial video
Your customers tell in their own words why they work with you and what changed because of it. Fits when a reference online is still just a text quote and needs more weight. Used on: website, proposals, social media.
Combination
Founder, team and customers tell it together in one film, why it’s worth working with you. Fits when the person at the top, the team and the impact on the customer together are the reason to work with you. Used on: homepage, about page, proposals.
Interview videos for recruiting
An interview video also works as a recruiting video: your existing staff tell it first hand, what it’s like to work at your company. Applicants see who they’d be joining before they even apply, instead of relying on the job ad alone. The result is fewer but better matched applications. Used on: careers page, job ads, LinkedIn and social media.
How your interview video comes together
Five steps, two sign-offs, one fixed delivery date. Each step says what it needs from you.
- 1
Briefing & understanding
We get to know your business, your attitude and your audience before we touch a camera: who should tell the story, a founder or a customer, and what doubts do prospects typically have before the first inquiry? Your part: one conversation, at your business or on a video call.
- 2
Concept & interview guide
The briefing turns into concept and shooting schedule: which format, who speaks, where we shoot. Plus the interview guide with questions that lead to told answers rather than memorised lines. You sign off on both; with the sign-off, the delivery date is fixed.
- 3
Shoot day (interview direction)
We shoot at your business or on-site with your customers: the place belongs in the picture, and the rest of the day keeps running as usual. We plan one to two hours per person. Before every interview: short warm-up questions with the camera rolling, clear directions, no endless retakes. The nerves settle once it’s clear nobody expects perfect sentences.
- 4
Edit & revision round
At the edit desk, the first cut takes shape: the strongest answers, footage from your working day, colour grading and sound mix. You collect your feedback in one go, we work it in, you sign off the final version. How many revision rounds are included is stated in the offer before the project starts.
- 5
Handover of the formats
You get the ready-to-use file in 16:9 for website and about page. On request we also cut vertical 9:16 versions for reels and stories. There’s nothing left for you to re-cut. If the video should then live on your channels continuously, social media management picks that up as a separate service.

What a video can show and a website can only claim
A website lists services and promises quality; there’s no way to verify that before the first job. An interview video gives different information: how the people talk, who is behind the business, what matters to management. That doesn’t take practised speakers. It takes direction: time before the first real question, a conversation instead of a recital, and an edit that lets answers stand instead of trimming them to commercial length.
We don’t ask for anything we don’t do ourselves: our own interview video is in the works right now: in front of the camera, Öykü Bargan and Nils Grinbergs, following the same guide principle we use for your interviews.

Who does your project
Concept, shoot and edit sit with the two founders. Whoever answers your questions in the briefing also stands in your business on the shoot day and sits at the edit desk afterwards; there is no handover to a project management layer where context gets lost along the way. Within Berlin we come to you without travel or hotel costs; shoot dates follow your operations, not our calendar.
What to prepare
To start, it takes no more than a rough idea of who should be on camera and a window of one to two hours per person for shoot and interview. You don’t have to bring copy, scripts or finished messages: we develop the questions from the briefing, and the answers are free-form. A location on your own premises is usually enough; a studio is rarely needed.
FAQ
Frequently asked
What does an interview video cost?
We name the price on request: as a project price with a range after the first conversation, not as a flat fee up front. The reason is scope. A founder video with one interview on one shoot day and a testimonial video with several customers and several shoot days are productions of very different sizes, and a flat fee would misprice one of them. Three levers set the price: the number of shoot days, the number of interviews and the scope of formats for website and social media. For a sense of how we calculate one-off video productions, see the brand film page; the interview video has its own frame.
How long does the production take?
We fix the delivery date before the shoot, as a date, not as an estimate after the fact. We don’t quote a blanket duration, because it hangs on two levers: the number of shoot days and the number of revision rounds. The revision rounds are already in the offer, the shoot days are set with the concept sign-off, and with them the date you receive the finished formats.
Do we have to be on camera ourselves?
Yes: without real people from your business or from your customers there is no interview video. Exactly those faces are what set it apart from plain website copy. Nobody has to memorise anything for it. It’s a guided conversation, not a recital: short warm-up questions with the camera rolling take away the first nerves, we ask questions instead of handing out scripts, and what makes the cut are the answers, not the hesitation before them.
How do we convince our customers to take part?
Usually just asking is enough: most customers are happy to say something good about a collaboration that worked, especially if the effort stays small. We plan one to two hours per person, come to them or to you, and lead with questions instead of scripted lines. Consent is settled in writing before the shoot.
Where do we use the video?
On the website, in proposals and on your social channels; for that, we deliver every production in 16:9 for the website, and on request additionally in 9:16 for reels and stories. So the video doesn’t just sit on the website after handover, social media content takes over: it plays the cuts out on your channels continuously, and social media ads put them in front of prospects on request.
What’s the difference between an interview video and a brand film?
The brand film speaks to customers and shows brand and offering as a whole; an interview video is more specific: individual people tell in their own words why it’s worth working with you. The shoot is similar, but focus and where they run are different; that’s why we run both as separate services with their own price.
Does this work for a small business too?
Yes. A video doesn’t take a large workforce or many customers. It takes two or three people who like talking about their experience. In a ten-person business, an interview with the founder and one happy customer says more about the collaboration than any reference list in text form.
Is an interview video also suitable as a recruiting video?
Yes: an interview video works very well as a recruiting video. Instead of customers, your existing staff go in front of the camera and tell it first hand, what it’s like to work at your company. Applicants see who they’d be joining before they even apply, and you get fewer but better matched applications.
What does a recruiting video cost?
Same as the interview video: a project price after the first conversation, not a flat fee up front. The number of shoot days and the number of interviews set the price; how many colleagues you want on camera, we sort out in the briefing.
